Qualifications, Education, Skills, and Competencies

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields;

MSc or PhD will be considered a plus;

Ability to develop extensible, testable and maintainable code;

Ability to perform in multi-cultural environments and to deliver results in an environment that requires meeting set deadlines, fresh thinking and innovation;

Self-driven, responsible, and able to take ownership on projects;

Open to new technologies and challenges, able to develop new ideas through the various phases of development and execution;

Available to travel frequently;

Able to work both independently and in a team environment;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, ability to negotiate, and to cooperate with international partners and clients, technical writing, presentation, and organisation skills.

Manage data of different volume, velocity and variety;

Experiment with different ML algorithms;

Explain complex data analytics results through appropriate visualizations;

Follow the state-of-the-art and desire to work on different projects and technologies;

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver technical R&D solutions;

Implement technical and scientific deliverables (state-of-art, requirements, conceptual architecture, specifications, implementation/integration plans, prototypes, testing, etc.).

Qualifications, Education, Skills, and Competencies

Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark), data science tools and ML libraries (e.g. MLlib, Scikit, TensorFlow, etc.);

A good understanding of semantic technologies (e.g. OWL, RDF, knowledge graphs) is desired but not essential;
