J-VERSE is a Catalink validation project funded by the PoliRuralPlus ENHANCE Open Call. It examines how JackDaw, a GeoAI chatbot, performs when answering real territorial questions — combining the perspective of real users, external environmental data, and local IoT observations. The project was carried out across Nicosia and Limassol, Cyprus.

Rather than relying on user opinion alone, J-VERSE paired stakeholder evaluation with technical validation: 35 participants across 7 stakeholder categories tested JackDaw directly, while a Knowledge Graph-based pipeline cross-checked its environmental answers against an external weather reference (Open-Meteo) and local PATROLIoT sensor data. The result is a clearer picture of where GeoAI chatbots are genuinely reliable, and where an easy, fast answer isn’t yet the same as an accurate one.
